Fall Market is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Beckman Heritage Farms. Crafts and vintage, barn and nature tours, demos, food vendors – and, of course, lots of pumpkins – fill this fun fall weekend at Beckman Heritage Farms on North Prairie Grove Road.

'Mamma Mia' at 2 p.m. at Players Workshop Theater. Don’t miss this ambitious performance extravaganza as Players Workshop kicks off its 90th year of live, local theater in Greater Burlington. The Magic of Rob Lake is at 3 p.m. at Memorial Auditorium. Friends of the Library Fall Book Sale is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Burlington Public Library. From popular fiction to local history, you’ll find good books at great prices at the Friends of the Library Book Sale. Monday is clearance day with special pricing for non-profit organizations from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Tuesday, Sept. 27

Drop-In Tech Help is at 3 p.m. at the Burlington Public Library. Filmmaker Greg Sestero, live in person at the Capitol Theater to introduce his new film, "Miracle Valley." The film will be screened in a special double feature along with Sestero’s 2003 cult classic 'The Room.' The ultimate cult movie night.

Saturday, Oct. 1

Spoon River Valley Scenic Drive Fall Festival from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Fulton County, Illinois. Since 1968, the Spoon River Valley Scenic Drive has drawn vendors and visitors from across the Midwest and has become so popular, it now takes place over two entire weekends in October. With crafts, antiques, history, quilt shows, demonstrations, entertainers, plenty of homemade food, apple cider and other harvest specialties and so much more, plan for a weekend-long adventure to fully enjoy this extraordinary fall festival.

Oktoberfest is from 4 to 10 p.m. at Community Field. Live German music, homemade German foods and plenty of Oktoberfest brews. Support the Burlington Noon Lions Club and celebrate German heritage – bonus points for traditional dress. Tickets are $8 in advance and available from any Lions Club member; $10 at the door. All proceeds support the Burlington Noon Lions and go toward vision and hearing wellness, scholarships and other club projects.
