The Gallery at Bus Stop — The show "Waves," multi-media works from photographic artist Dona Laurita, will open at 5 p.m. Friday with a reception. The exhibit will be on display through June 26; 4895 N. Broadway, Boulder; noboartdistrict.org.

Lyons Town Mural Fundraiser — Funds will be raised this weekend at a benefit show for the installation of a new mural by Lyons-based multimedia artist Android Jones. The final image will be unveiled 6-9 p.m. Friday at Solhawk Gallery, 401 Main St., Lyons, and Jones will have exclusive prints, original sketches and special merch for sale. The closing show and auction will feature several limited-edition pieces from 7-9 p.m. June 11; androidjones.com.

Boulder County Plein Air Event — Now through June 11, artists can capture the beauty of Boulder County by creating art of any medium en plein air (outside). Registration is required to submit art for the awards competition, sale and final exhibit at Chautauqua Auditorium that will take place 9 a.m.-noon June 11. The event is open to any artist of all abilities, ages 15 and older; openstudios.org.

BlueBird Arts and Crafts Market — New art fair will bring handmade goods from local makers to Memory Square Park, 801 Grant Court, Louisville, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday. Shoppers can peruse a curated group of goods while the Taste of Louisville takes over downtown, featuring fare from local restaurants, a farmers market and more; bluebirdartsandcrafts.com.

Lyons Summer Artisan Market — The second annual market returns with more than 20 local vendors alongside grilled goods from local barbecue masters, craft beer and root beer floats. Latino Chamber of Commerce Cultural Day — An afternoon of dancing, crafting and culture will feature local authors Deborah Martinez-Martinez, Ernesto Alvarado, Albert Quintana, Beatrice Montoya Apodaca, Arturo Jimenez, Joe Barrera, Elizabeth Renee Fajardo, Lourdes "LuLu" Buck and Christina Montoya, who will have their books for sale. There will be samples of homemade tortillas and fare from food trucks Que Rico Parce and Izote. Luna Cultura will bring the craft station, artisan goods from Inez Sanchez's Misfit Dolls will be for sale and children's books will be given out.
