Black History Live — Josephine Baker: This program will feature a living history performance by local historical actor Becky Stone, who will portray Josephine Baker (1906-1975). Baker was a world-renowned performer, the first Black woman to star in a major motion picture. Opening reception at Firehouse: Meet winter artist-in-residence, Boulder County artist Nancy Eastman, at a reception for the gallery's new exhibit "Stitched: Connecting Community through Abstraction." Eastman uses unique found objects to portray Longmont's agricultural history and Colorado's landscape. Student art show opens at Loveland Museum: The museum is celebrating National Youth Art Month with works from Loveland's and Berthoud's youth artists. Featuring art from more than 200 students in kindergarten through 12th grade in 30-plus schools, the Thompson School District Student Art Show is packed with artwork of every medium.
