A look at the Norfolk Tides as they return home Tuesday to begin a six-game homestand against the Gwinnett Stripers, the top affiliate of the Atlanta Braves.

Kate Flannery, who portrayed Meredith Palmer in the hit TV series “The Office” will appear before Tuesday’s game. New in town: RHP Chris Vallimont, picked up off waivers from Minnesota in May, made his Norfolk Tides debut during last week’s road trip, losing at Lehigh Valley. He was 1-0 with a 0.69 ERA and 18 strikeouts in three appearances with Double-A Bowie.

In the Gwinnett dugout: Brad Brach, signed by the Braves in March, has logged more than 500 career major league games and played four seasons with Baltimore. He played for the Tides in 2014.
