The National WWI Museum and Memorial has recently opened four major upgrades to the Main Gallery to coincide with its Veterans Day celebration.

“Prologue: Grand Illusions,” “Interactive Touch Tables,” “America Mobilizes” and “Move ’Em Out and Bon Voyage” feature new technology and stories that the public can view at a discounted price this weekend. The Veterans Day celebration also will feature a showing of the animated musical movie “The War to End All Wars” (6 p.m. Nov. 10) and a public ceremony (10 a.m. Nov. 11).

Admission to the museum will be free for veterans/active-duty military and half price for others. Hours will be 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Nov. 10-12; tickets ($5-$9) and more information at theworldwar.org.
