38th annual Frank Brown Songwriters' Festival

Thursday, Nov. 3 through Sunday, Nov. 13. Multiple locations. The Songwriters’ Fest will feature nationally acclaimed songwriters in venues along the Florida and Alabama Gulf Coast. This is an opportunity for seasoned and aspiring songwriters and musicians from all over the world to have their songs heard, and for the public to learn the stories behind the lyrics that only the song’s author can express. The Pensacola Foo Foo Festival

Thursday, Nov. 3 through Monday, Nov. 14. Multiple locations. Foo Foo Fest is a 12-day celebration each fall, with culturally creative happenings, events and moments under one banner, attracting visitors to Pensacola. Friends of Downtown Presents Bubble Alley

Thursday, Nov. 3 through Monday, Nov. 14. Pensacola Bubble Alley will suspend several thousand reusable vinyl “bubbles” high above Intendencia Street between Jefferson and South Tarragona Street in the heart of downtown Pensacola throughout the Foo Foo Festival. Located conveniently amidst and between other Foo Foo events, and walkable from downtown shops, galleries, bars and restaurants, the open-air festival is accessible both day and night to enjoy as a fun, free destination for all ages. Vandals to Vanguards: Seven Days of Street Art

Thursday, Nov. 3 through Thursday, Nov. 10. Pensacola Museum of Art, 407 S. Jefferson St. The Pensacola Museum of Art will engage the Pensacola community during the Foo Foo Festival with Vandals to Vanguards. The exhibition will feature contemporary masterpieces by Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein and Keith Haring alongside current notorious street artists like Banksy and Mr. Brainwash. In addition to the exhibition, an opening reception and block party will take place at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4. More info: foofoofest.com.

Karl Denson's Tiny Universe

5 p.m., doors; 6 p.m., show; Monday, Nov. 7. Vinyl Music Hall, 2 S. Palafox St. Many know Karl Denson as the touring saxophonist with The Rolling Stones, but he and his band are so much more. Denson’s Tiny Universe is a seven-member jazz/funk/rock group from San Diego, California. Fresh off the road with The Rolling Stones, Denson aka “Diesel” is back out on the road with his “Tiny Universe” celebrating his 65th birthday. AC3 will open the show. $25. For all ages. Monday Night Blues

7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 7. Seville Quarter, 130 E. Government St. Seville Quarter and the Blues Society of Northwest Florida are bringing the “blues” back to the Seville Quarter Entertainment District. ‘Unrequited’

Various times Tuesday and Wednesday, Nov. 8 and 9. Pensacola Little Theatre, 400 S. Jefferson St. Based on "Romeo and Juliet," William Shakespeare's romantic tragedy, "Unrequited" is an immersive theatrical event: dance with the Capulets in their grand ballroom, dodge the Montagues on the streets of Verona, and be a part of a thrilling affair. Jazz at the Library with Joe Occhipinti

Spring St. As an educational outreach to highlight the Jazz Room on the second floor of the library, Jazz Pensacola and West Florida Public Library are co-sponsoring concerts hosted by Joe Occhipinti, a Jazz Pensacola founding member. PMA Art Factory Night

6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10. Vinyl Music Hall, 2 S. Palafox St. The Pensacola Museum of Art is taking over Vinyl Music Hall for a one-night only special event that merges music, video projections, live street art demos and interactive artmaking. Meant to evoke the infamous parties at Andy Warhol’s Factory, guests will dance to the tunes of DJ DocRoc and try their hand at printmaking. Come dressed in your best '70s or '80s attire, silver and sparkles are encouraged. As a connection to Warhol’s well-known soup cans, the PMA will also be collecting canned food donations to benefit Manna Food Pantries at the event. Free. For all ages. Born to Hand Jive: A “Grease” Sing-Along

7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10. The Rex Theatre, 18 N. Palafox St. Popular actor and choreographer Michael Dennis will emcee a screening of the classic movie musical "Grease," in a version displaying song lyrics so everyone can sing along with the stars, who include John Travolta, Olivia Newton-John and Frankie Avalon. To set the mood for arriving moviegoers, Thunder Road, a display of 1950s automobiles, organized in partnership with Panhandle Cruisers Car Club, will be parked in front of the theater from 6 to 10 p.m. Hosted by the Choral Society of Pensacola. 8 a.m., gates; 9:30 a.m., show; Friday and Saturday, Nov. 11 and 12. Pensacola Naval Air Station. The Blue Angels Homecoming Air Show is coming to Pensacola NAS with the theme of "100 Years of Carrier Aviation.” The air show is one of Pensacola's largest events, attracting between 150,000 to 180,000 spectators. Pensacola Veterans Day Parade

10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 11. Downtown Pensacola. Gulf Coast Veterans Advocacy Council Inc. is hosting its annual Veterans Day Parade. The parade will begin at Spring Street and proceed on Main Street to Bayfront Parkway, ending at the Veterans Memorial Park. The grandstand and main viewing position will be at Bartram Park, 211 Bayfront Parkway. This year’s parade marshal is actor and retired U.S. Marine Corps Capt. Dale Dye. More info: gcvacflalms.org.

Veterans Day Ceremony

Veterans Memorial Park, 200 S. 10th Ave. The Board of Directors of Pensacola’s Veterans Memorial Park invite the community to commemorate Veterans Day with the official ceremony at 11 a.m. with the presentation of colors to celebrate the lives and the contributions of our nation’s veterans. Corrosion of Conformity

Palafox St. Originally one of the many hardcore punk bands that dotted the map of the United States in the early 1980s, North Carolina's Corrosion of Conformity integrated elements of heavy metal — namely its power and virtuosity — to help give rise to the subgenre known as thrash metal. By the mid-1990s, C.O.C. had developed into a full-on heavy-metal act with crossover appeal, while their sly use of Southern rock tropes helped set them apart from other metal acts. $20. 32nd annual Arts and Crafts Festival

9 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 12. Pine Forest United Methodist Church, 2800 Wilde Lake Blvd. Pine Forest United Methodist Church is hosting its 32nd annual Arts and Crafts Festival featuring 165 arts, crafts and other vendors, homemade baked goods, food and door prizes. 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12. Saenger Theatre, 118 S. Palafox St. Sixteen thrilling vocalists will take center stage — alongside the Pensacola Symphony Orchestra — to present an unparalleled one-night-only gala concert honoring the history of musical storytelling in Pensacola and looking forward to the bright future of Pensacola Opera. Pensacola EggFest

Noon-3 p.m., Pensacola Blue Wahoos Stadium. The Pensacola EggFest is back for its 10th year. The event hosts BBQ teams and backyard cooks from all over the United States who share two things: a love of cooking and the joy of giving back to their communities. Since 2013, over $500,000 has been donated to local charities including Rally Pensacola, Manna Food Pantry and Studer Community Institute. General admission is $45 and allows attendees to sample bites from all of the competing teams.

11 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 13. Pensacola Beach Boardwalk. Sip, stroll and shop your way around the Pensacola Beach Boardwalk when it turns into an artist and wine lover’s paradise. The festival brings together about 25 to 30 local artists and more than 30 wine selections from three national wine distributors, all in one place. The festival is free, however, to participate in the wine tastings festivalgoers must purchase a ticket and receive a wristband. Advance tickets for wine tastings are $40.
