MONDAY

88th annual Pensacola Interstate Fair

Taking place through Oct. 30. Pensacola Interstate Fairgrounds, 6655 Mobile Highway. The Pensacola Interstate Fair offers 11 days of rides, food, fun, music and gaming for families looking for exciting things to do on a budget. The fair also offers options to save money with Dollar Day on Opening Day Thursday, Midnight Madness Friday specials, and advance Super Saver discount ride wristbands and half-price admission tickets. Holland Farms Pumpkin Patch & Maze

8 a.m. Sunday to Saturday through Nov. 5. Holland Farms, 2055 Homer Holland Road, Milton. Enjoy a farm hayride around the farm and to the pumpkin patch to pick a pumpkin of your choice. New activities for this year include a 3/4-mile train ride around the farm and a new innertube hill slide. Monday Night Blues

7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 24. Seville Quarter, 130 E. Government St. Seville Quarter and the Blues Society of Northwest Florida are bringing the “blues” back to the Seville Quarter Entertainment District. Bands on the Beach

7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25. Gulfside Pavilion at Casino Beach, Pensacola Beach. Pensacola Beach's popular outdoor summer concert series with performers for every musical taste. Featuring a lineup of regional artists, Bands on the Beach delivers an eclectic musical experience throughout the entire summer. Heroes Among Us speaker series

6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27. Seville Quarter, 130 E. Government St. The “Heroes Among Us” series, founded in 2013, features individuals from all branches of the military service. The goal is to let these heroes share their experiences with others, both civilians and military veterans as well as active-duty members. The events are organized and sponsored by the Marine Corps League, J. R. Spears Detachment 066. This month features Major General David Morris, United States Army. Circles Around The Sun

7 p.m., doors; 8 p.m., show; Thursday, Oct. 27. Vinyl Music Hall, 2 S. Palafox St. Guitarist Neal Casal was asked to record a handful of Grateful Dead-influenced instrumentals to be played during the set breaks at The Dead’s “Fare Thee Well” concerts in 2015. To accomplish the task, he recruited keyboardist Adam MacDougall, bassist Dan Horne and drummer Mark Levy to join him in the studio. The Tyde will open the show. $20. For all ages. Friday and Saturday, Oct. 28 and 29. Artel Gallery, 223 Palafox Place. Her Roots: A Southern Woman’s Song, a new event conceived by Gartner and local conductor, Juliana Child, will kick off FemFest on Friday. Her Roots will explore music’s testament to the Southern woman, through the lens of their many diverse intersecting identities. Womanhood in Lavender will open the festival on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. This landmark event is a night of paying homage to the fullness of Black womanhood. Performances will range from visual art presentations, monologues, spoken work, dancing and other surprise displays all brought to center stage by Black women. $10 each. Rocky Horror Murder Mystery Dinner Show

6 p.m., doors; 7 p.m., show; Friday through Sunday, Oct. 28 through 30. Seville Quarter, 130 E. Government St. Do the time warp again with your favorite cast members as they reunite for a special affair. Drivin N Cryin

Palafox St. Celebrating their 35th anniversary together, Atlanta-based folk rock act Drivin N Cryin have spent most of their career on tour. In October 1985, the band played their first show at Atlanta’s famed 688 Club. They quickly gained attention for their blistering live shows, and amassed a rabid fanbase in the fertile soil of the late-1980s Southeast music scene. ‘Unrequited’

Various times Friday, Oct. 28 through Sunday, Nov. 9. Pensacola Little Theatre, 400 S. Jefferson St. Based on William Shakespeare's romantic tragedy, Romeo and Juliet, Unrequited is an immersive theatrical event: dance with the Capulets in their grand ballroom, dodge the Montagues on the streets of Verona, and be a part of a thrilling affair. ‘Blithe Spirit’

7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28 through 30. Center for Fine and Performing Arts, University of West Florida, 11000 University Parkway. Noël Coward’s comedy “Blithe Spirit” revolves around socialite and novelist Charles Condomine who hopes to find material for his next book by holding a séance. $20 per person for adults, $16 per person for senior citizens and active military, $14 per person for non-UWF students and UWF faculty and staff, and $7 for high school students. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Florida and the West Florida Wheelmen Bicycle Club are hosting the Fenner Ride, a unique chance to experience Northwest Florida’s native wildlife, natural environments, and beautiful scenery. There is a ride for all cycling levels, including 18, 42, 62 or 100 miles. Registration includes event giveaways, fully supported rest stops, limited sag support, a post-ride meal, prize opportunities, a T-shirt and medals for all participants. Registration: $55 to $60. Autism Pensacola’s Trunk-or-Treat

1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29. Pearl Nelson Child Development Center, 916 E. Fairfield Drive. Autism Pensacola is hosting their Spooktacular Trunk-or-Treat for special needs families. Attendees will be able to walk around the fenced parking lot collecting treats, participate in the fall photo booth, and play a variety of games. Free. More info: autismpensacola.org.

O'Riley's Halloween Party and Costume Contest

9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29. O'Riley's Irish Pub, 321 S. Palafox St.; and O'Riley's Uptown Tavern, 3728 Creighton Road. O’Riley’s Irish Pub is holding its two annual Halloween Costume Contests at the downtown and uptown locations. The downtown location will be giving out $1,000 and the uptown location will be giving out $500, both in cash and prizes to the top three contestants.
