MONDAY

Winter Restaurant Week

5 p.m. Monday through Sunday, Jan. 23 through 29. The Fish House, Jackson’s Steakhouse, Five Sisters Blues Café and Angelena’s Ristorante Italiano will once again team up to present Winter Restaurant Week. In step with similar events in cities all around the country, Restaurant Week is a culinary celebration that offers residents and visitors alike world-class dining at a great value. Chefs from each restaurant will prepare a three-course, fixed-price dinner menu utilizing the best in local and seasonal ingredients, showcasing their culinary expertise, for $33 per person, per restaurant. Monday Night Blues

7 p.m. Monday, Jan 23. Seville Quarter, 130 E. Government St. Seville Quarter and the Blues Society of Northwest Florida are bringing the “blues” back to the Seville Quarter Entertainment District. TUESDAY

Jazz by the Book

1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24. Spring Street Library, 239 N. Spring St. As an educational outreach to highlight the Jazz Room on the second floor of the library, Jazz Pensacola and West Florida Public Library co-sponsor "Jazz by the Book" concerts. The Jazz Room features a collection of books, magazines/newspapers, CDs, recordings and other materials that are available for anyone with a library card. THURSDAY

TobyMac: Hits Deep Tour

7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26. Pensacola Bay Center, 201 E. Gregory St. TobyMac’s Hits Deep Tour is gearing up for another amazing year. TobyMac and the DiverseCity Band return to the stage with support from fan-favorite Crowder, Cochren & Co, Tasha Layton, Jon Reddick and Terrian. This will be a night of music and fun. FRIDAY

Flights and Cigars

5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27. Sir Richard’s Public House, 2719 E. Cervantes St. Sir Richard’s Public House is hosting a Flights and Cigars event. Attendees can choose from several liquor flights during the event, with each flight featuring a different type of alcohol. Each attendee will also receive a premium cigar from Cordova Cigars. ‘Mindgame’

7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27 through Feb. 4. Pensacola Little Theatre, 400 S. Jefferson St. When Mark Styler, a writer of glossy ‘true crime' paperbacks, tries to get an interview with Easterman, a notorious serial killer, he has no idea what he’s walking into. Mindgame is a puzzle box of a play. A dazzling thriller and a jet-black comedy that twists its way toward a shocking conclusion. Written by Anthony Horowitz and directed by Billy Buff. SATURDAY

Ian C. Lockwood Memorial Scholarship Golf Tournament

8 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 28. The Club at Hidden Creek, 3070 PGA Blvd., Navarre. Proceeds from the tournament will go towards the Ian C. Lockwood Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded to Navarre High School student-athletes that exude the ‘Livestrong’ attitude and maintains a commitment to academics and athletics. More info: getrelaxing.com.

2 p.m., reception; 6 p.m., closing artist talk; Saturday, Jan. 28. 309 Punk Project, 309 N. Sixth Ave. The 309 Punk Project hosts a public opening/closing reception for December-January Artist-In-Residence, Julia Arredondo. Originally from South Texas, Arredondo regularly travels the artist residency circuit and is concluding her Pensacola stay with an exhibition titled Talismaniacal. Talismaniacal is part of her explorations around occult Americana and the magical qualities of handmade works of art. More info: juliaarredondo.com.

Piano Celebration: Mozart and Beyond

7:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28. Center for Fine and Performing Arts, University of West Florida, 11000 University Parkway. In 2007, due to the generous gift of Helen Wentworth, the UWF Department of Music became a “Steinway School.” In honor of Helen and Warren Wentworth, the department initiated an annual Steinway Piano Showcase and the celebration has become a popular annual event in the community. For this year’s celebration, the talented pianists from the studios of Dr. Hedi Salanki-Rubardt and Mr. Blake Riley will perform a program including works by Mozart, Schubert, Ginastera, Albeniz, Bartok, Chopin, Rachmaninoff, as well as others. The 27th annual Cordova Mall Ball will be the first time the event has been held inside the mall since COVID-19 began.

8 p.m. Saturday, Jan 28. Cordova Mall, 5100 N. Ninth Ave. The 27th annual Cordova Mall Ball will be the first time the event has been held inside the mall since COVID-19 began. Three bands, including a second-line band, are scheduled for the event. In addition, colorful performance artists will add to the Mardi Gras atmosphere. Area restaurants will provide food at no additional cost, and a silent auction offering some fabulous selections will be part of the fun. A New Orleans-style French Market will include face painting, a fortune teller, a caricature artist and the opportunity to purchase Mardi Gras masks, feather boas and more. $80 per person. Tedeschi Trucks Band

7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 29. Saenger Theatre, 118 S. Palafox St. Tedeschi Trucks Band is a Grammy Award-winning 12-piece powerhouse ensemble led by the husband/wife duo of guitarist Derek Trucks and singer/guitarist Susan Tedeschi. With their own potent original songwriting alongside an extensive canon of influences, the dynamic all-star band owns a reputation for world-class musical expression bolstered by each album and every performance.
