Intrust Bank Arena could set a new attendance record on Sunday with a sold-out show by country star Zach Bryan, and that’s just one of the fun events on Wichita’s entertainment calendar this weekend.

Here’s a look at some of the fun things going on:

Zach Bryan in concert

8 p.m. Sunday, Intrust Bank Arena

Country superstar Zach Bryan is bringing his “Burn, Burn, Burn” tour to Wichita’s Intrust Bank Arena for an in-the-round concert that officials say has the potential to break the building’s single-event attendance record set by Metallica in 2019, when that band drew 15,690 people. Bryan’s sold-out show on Sunday is expected to draw at least that many fans, who will hear the singer perform his biggest hits, including “Something in the Orange,” “Heading South” and “Oklahoma Smokeshow.” The show starts at 8 p.m., and Bryan’s opening acts will be Charles Wesley Godwin and JR Carroll.

Corey Smith in concert

8 p.m. Friday, TempleLive, 332 E. First St.

Singer/songwriter Corey Smith, a country music star known for songs like “Twenty-One,” “Maybe Next Year” and “Broken Record,” is performing on Friday at Wichita’s TempleLive, the music venue inside the Scottish Rite Temple. Smith, a Georgia native and onetime high school teacher, will perform at 8 p.m., and doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $25-$39 at www.wichita.templelive.com

CSB turns 8

Noon-11 p.m. Saturday, 156 S. Greenwood

One of Wichita’s most popular craft breweries — Central Standard Brewing at 156 S. Greenwood — is turning 8 and is again celebrating its birthday with an all-day outdoor block party. It lasts from noon to 11 p.m. Saturday and will feature live music, games and special beer releases. The event also will feature several live bands, including Delano, Elephant’s Gerald and Grody Riggins. Admission to the party is free.

Lao Festival

Saturday-Sept. 3, Lao Buddhist Temple, 2550 S. Greenwich

Wichita’s big Lao Festival starts on Saturday and will continue for nine days at the Lao Buddhist Temple, 2550 S. Greenwich. The cultural festival, which is open to the public, will feature more than 60 vendors selling Asian food, clothing and gifts plus live bands, plays and cultural performances. It lasts from 7 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Saturday through Sept. 2 and from 7 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Sept. 3. Kids and pets are welcome. Admission is free, but donations will be accepted. Pumpkin patch season will be here soon, but for now, the Applejack Pumpkin Patch is putting on its annual summer outdoor market, which will last from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. The event will feature vendors from around the state selling handmade, antique and artisan items. Food will be available for purchase, and the event will also feature live music. Shoppers also will be able to find Rocky Ford watermelon and cantaloupe, Colorado peaches and sweet corn, and kids can participate in catch-and-release fishing and free archery. Admission at the gate is $5 for people 12 and over.

Exhibit farewell

8 p.m. Saturday, Wichita Art Museum, 1400 W. Museum Blvd.

The Wichita Art Museum’s big summer exhibit — a display of glass works by Native artists — is closing on Sept. 10, and the museum will bid the show farewell with a closing party scheduled for 8 p.m. on Saturday. Admission to the event, which will include food and cocktails, is $50 or $25 for WAM members. It will also feature a concert by Choctaw Nations singer/songwriter Samatha Crain.
