It’ll be another busy fall weekend in Wichita, and so many performances, festivals and events are happening around town, there’s no room to list them all here.

But below are some of the highlights, which include the season’s first haunted house opening, the return of the big drone show at Exploration Place, a blues crawl and a visit by a famous comedian.

Drone show

6-10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Exploration Place, 300 N. McLean

Last summer’s drone light show was a big hit at Exploration Place, and it returns this weekend with some major upgrades. Not only will the show run three nights instead of two, but an entire festival has been designed around it. The festival, which will feature synchronized computer-controlled drones illuminating the night sky, started on Thursday and continues through Saturday. The drones will be the main attraction each night, and 300 of them — 100 more than last year — will fly up to 400 feet over the Arkansas River and Keeper of the Plains, forming various shapes like the Wichita flag, a sunflower and an airplane. The festival, which will be set up around Exploration Place, will include food trucks, glowing water lanterns and a candlelight concert by Trevor Stewart. Individual tickets, which don’t include parking, are $15. Carload passes, which include parking and admission for up to nine people in the same vehicle, are $60. Both are available at exploration.org/event/drone-light-show/ The show will be launched from the Mid-America All-Indian Museum grounds and will be centered over the Keeper of the Plains.

Logan Mize at Botanica

8 p.m. Friday, Botanica, 701 Amidon

He’ll perform at 9 p.m., and opening act Savanna Chestnut and the Field Hands will start the show at 8 p.m. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. People are asked to bring their own lawn chairs and also may bring their own food and nonalcoholic beverages. Concessions and a cash bar also will be available. Tickets are $45 for non-members, $40 for members at botanica.org/logan-mize
