Weekend events feature kids

Aug. 1—HIGH POINT — A High Point mother-daughter-owned business is holding a fashion show, talent show and a pop-up shop featuring child entrepreneurs this weekend.

First up for Cryshaunda Rorie and 6-year-old Blair Noelle, the owners of I Am Blair's Closet, a children's boutique, during what they are billing as "A Day with Blair" on Saturday, is the pop-up shop from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Gallery on Main, 100 S. Main St.

The fashion show and talent show begin at 7 p.m. at Renaissance Church, 5114 Harvey James Road, Jamestown. Tickets are $25 each.

They will also award a "kidpreneur" — their term for a child entrepreneur — a $1,000 grant, Rorie said in a press release.
