Wichita music fans will find a pretty wide variety of concerts this weekend and into next week, ranging from hip hop star Snoop Dogg at Intrust Bank Arena on Friday to Grammy winner Stephen Marley on Monday at Wave. A group also is putting on an art and music festival inspired by Frida Kahlo at Old Town Square, and Wichita can pig out at Hartman Arena’s annual Air Capital Bacon, Bourbon and Brews event.

Here’s a look at some of the fun events happening around Wichita this weekend:

Snoop Dogg in Wichita

7:30 p.m. Friday, Intrust Bank Arena, 500 E. Waterman

Snoop Dogg’s big Wichita concert is on for Friday at Intrust Bank Arena. The rapper and hip-hop star — best known for hits like “Drop It Like It’s Hot” and “Gin and Juice” — is celebrating 30 years in the music business, and his show will also include stars Wiz Khalifa and Ying Yang Twins. It starts at 7:30 p.m., and tickets range from $79 to $169. They’re available at select-a-seat.com, by phone at 316-755-7328 and in person at the Select-a-Seat box office inside Intrust Bank Arena.

Another summer concert series

7:30 p.m. Friday, Hartman Arena, 8151 N Hartman Arena Drive, Park City

Hartman Arena in Park City is launching its own Sunset Concert Series this weekend and plans to put concerts on every Friday night through Aug. 11. Admission to the concerts is free, and each week, audiences will hear a new band and get to try a new lineup of food trucks. This Friday’s concert will feature cover band Annie Up, and food trucks Brazita Bites, Cheezepanzee, Southeast Carryout and Funky Monkey Munchies will be selling food. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs. They can bring coolers but no outside alcohol. The concerts start at 7:30 p.m. each week. Bacon, bourbon and beer

4 p.m. Saturday, Hartman Arena, 8151 N Hartman Arena Drive, Park City

Hartman Arena also will be home this weekend to its annual Air Capital Bacon, Bourbon and Brews festival. The event, which starts at 4 p.m. on Saturday, is open only to ages 21 and over and will feature more than 75 different beers to try plus bacon samples prepared by a lineup of local restaurants. As always, the festival will include a bacon eating contest and live entertainment. General admission tickets are $35 in advance or $40 the day of the event. VIP tickets, which include early entry, a commemorative pint glass, a ticket to the bourbon tasting and more, are $68 in advance, $73 the day of the event. Get tickets at www.ticketmaster.com

Frida Fest

10 a.m. to 10 p.m Saturday, 334 N. Mead

Old Town Square will be home on Saturday to Frida Fest 2023, an art festival inspired by legendary artist Frida Kahlo. The event, which will run from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., will include art activities from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., a fashion show, live painting and food by Los Compadres Mexican Grill. The event also will feature live music from 5 to 9 p.m. by Kimberly Paige and The Josue Estrada band. The event is put on by Dia de Los Muertos Wichita, and admission is free.

Stephen Marley concert

7 p.m. Monday, Wave, 650 E. Second St.

Multi-Grammy winner Stephen Marley, son of the famous reggae musician Bob Marley, will bring his Babylon By Bus Summer tour to Wichita’s Wave music venue on Monday. His opening act will be Subatomic Sound System. Stephen, 51, started his own reggae career when he was a boy and performed with Ziggy Marley and the Melody Makers. Doors open at 6 p.m., and the show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $35, $55 and $95 and are available at waveict.com

Rodney Carrington show

8 p.m. Saturday, Kansas Star Arena, 777 Kansas Star Drive, Mulvane

Comedian and singer Rodney Carrington will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Kansas Star Casino in Mulvane, and tickets to the show are still available. Carrington, who is one of the country’s top 10 highest grossing touring comedians, will perform in the casino’s event center starting at 8 p.m. Tickets are $55, $70 and $125 at www.ticketmaster.com
