Panties In a Twist: The All Female Sketch Comedy Show

Saturday, Feb. 10 at 7 p.m. at The NorVa (Doors open at 6 p.m.)

The All Female Sketch Comedy Show is back. The show is written, directed and stars women. Push Comedy Theater said they have gathered the region’s finest and funniest female writers, actresses and comedians for this show. Tickets are available at the link here.

Saturday, Feb. 10 from noon to 6 p.m. at Smartmouth Beer, 1309 Raleigh Ave.

It’s time for Lunch Lady Land at the brewery. It’s a throwback afternoon and sure to make you think of the “glory days of grade school.” Enjoy local pop-ups serving cafeteria-inspired meals, enjoy music from local acts and check out the spelling bee. Black History Now: Art That Changes the World

Art is Revolutionary Exhibit

Wednesday to Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Portsmouth Colored Community Library Museum, 904 Elm Ave.

The exhibit explores the word of the area’s most groundbreaking artists, across generations and 150 years, from Missy Elliott to Ella Fitzgerald. It’s all about icons, innovators and trailblazers.

Art that changes the world: Nikkolas Smith

Saturday, Feb. 10 from noon to 1:30 p.m. at The Children’s Museum of Virginia, 221 High St.

Nikkolas Smith known as an “artivist” will be at the Museum sharing his journey of using art to make a difference in the world. Smith is a concept artist, children’s book author, film illustrator and move poster designer. He has worked on projects such as “Judas and the Black Messiah,” “Space Jam II,” “Black Panther” and more.

Saturday, Feb. 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Portsmouth Olde Towne Farmers Market, 400 High St.
