Weekend Roundup: Nora Levy scores 1,000th point in Wooster's win

GIRLS BASKETBALL
Wooster 46, Mount Vernon 33
Wooster bounced back from a tough loss to West Holmes earlier in the week to beat Mount Vernon on the road.
Senior guard Nora Levy scored her 1,000th career varsity point in the win.
"Today was the best team basketball we have played in two seasons," Wooster coach Alex Kacere said. "We feel like we are right on the cusp opening the floodgates. Still some things to clean up, but we were checked in on both sides of the ball and we were extremely unselfish. ... Nora Levy scored her 1.000th point today. We are very proud of the work she has put in to accomplish this. She is the first in and the last out every day. And that’s not a cliche."
