Norwell High to stage 'Putnam County Spelling Bee'

NORWELL − The Fourth Wall Players of the Norwell High School Theater program will present a musical production of "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" at 6:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday, Nov. 17 and 18, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 19, in the Norwell High School Auditorium, 18 South St. Tickets cost $12 and are available at the door or by Venmo @NorwellArts. Hull High theater program presents 'Grease' this weekend

HULL – The Hull High School Theatre Arts Program will present “Grease” at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18; 2 and 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19; and 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, at the Joseph C. Scituate church's holiday fair starts Friday

Rockland church's holiday fair set for Saturday

Hull residents collecting gifts for veterans at VA hospital

HULL – Local resident Craig Wolfe is collecting gifts for veterans at the Brockton VA Medical Center who will not be able to return home for the holidays. Stocking stuffers, hoodies sizes L to 2X, non-skid slippers, games, personal care items, stationery, art supplies, playing cards, models to build, socks, hats and gloves can be dropped off at Daddy’s Beach Club, 280 Nantasket Ave., from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 24. Donations should be left at the Disaster Aid USA trailer. After Thanksgiving, items can be dropped off at 89 Edgewater Road. For more information or to schedule a pickup, email 89edge@comcast.net.

Musical dramas highlight different American cultures

MILTON – Milton Community Concerts will present “Let’s Celebrate” at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, at the First Parish Church of Milton, 535 Canton Ave. The program previews four new musical dramas produced by White Snake Projects that highlight holiday traditions from four different cultures in America.
