Weekend vibes: This iconic Fort Myers bar lands on travel website's Top-10 list

It's only been open for a little more than two years, but the Luminary Hotel & Co., located in Downtown Fort Myers, is starting to get noticed beyond the boundaries of Southwest Florida.

The Luminary's Beacon Social Drinkery rooftop lounge was recently recognized by the website TheTravel as one of South Florida's 10 Iconic Bars. The list features bars in Miami, Key West and Fort Lauderdale. Beacon Social Drinkery came in at No. 4 on the list, which was released on Feb. 12.

According to the experts at TheTravel:

Luminary Hotel & Co's Beacon Social Drinkery is a hip, modern rooftop bar and Restaurant on the 12th floor, perfect for people-watching and taking in the panoramic view of the Caloosahatchee River and downtown Fort Myers. There are tapas, excellent wines, craft beers, and original drinks on the menu. Modern and stylish, it's the ideal spot to unwind with coworkers or friends after a day of meetings or sightseeing.
