— It's your last chance for a ride on Thomas the Tank Engine at the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum, 4119 Cromwell Road. This family-favorite event features a full-size replica of the storybook train and visits with Sir Topham Hatt, controller of the railway, along with crafts, storytelling, videos and other activities. — Burger Week: Sixteen restaurants and two food trucks have signed on for Chattanooga's inaugural Burger Week May 17-23, a chance to fill up on $6 burger deals and possibly win prizes. Some burgers come with sides for $6, some don't, but you can expect an impressive stack of flavor from all of the contenders. — "Power, Passion & Pose": Hunter Museum of American Art, 10 Bluff View, will open an exhibition of photography with an artists talk on May 20. Married photographers Ken Browar and Deborah Ory will explain what it's like to choreograph photographs that meld haute couture with the athleticism of world-renowned dancers. — AirPower History Tour: Keep your eyes on the skies at the end of the week for this national tour of World War II aircraft gathering at Wilson Air Center, 932 Jubilee Drive, near Chattanooga Airport. Among the historic aircraft are a B-29 FIFI, the most advanced bomber of the war; a P-51 Mustang Gunfighter, considered the "stallion" of the U.S. Army Air Corps; T-6 Texan, a trainer warbird; Boeing Stearman, an open-cockpit biplane; and a T-34 Mentor, which still has its original 225-horsepower engine. You can book rides on any of these flyers, or keep your boots on the ground for cockpit tours. Hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. May 21-23. — NoogaSplash, an inflatable aqua park, returns to the waters at Chester Frost Park, 2389 Gold Point Circle North, on May 22. This on-the-water obstacle course includes slides, climbing walls, springboards, monkey bars and other ways to play. All users must be at least 45 inches tall and "capable" swimmers. — Sunset Cinema: This spring film series is coming to Miller Park, 928 Market St., the last two Saturdays in May. Presented by the city of Chattanooga and Open Spaces, the series partners with a nonprofit each night, starting with the Creative Discovery Museum for the screening of "Up" on May 22. The Chattanooga Area Food Bank will be the featured partner May 29 for a screening of "Guardians of the Galaxy." Movies start at 8:30 p.m., but for an hour before there will be yard games, vendors and food trucks to check out. You'll need to bring your own seating, and your choice determines where you'll be seated: blankets in the front, chairs in the back.
