Here are this week's Bucks County/Montco baseball team rankings

Here is the first update of the Bucks County/Eastern Montco baseball rankings this spring:

Public schools (through Monday)

1. Pennsbury

The defending Suburban One League Patriot Division champion Falcons (5-1 overall) won their first five games, including an 8-1 victory over Neshaminy, before falling to Council Rock South 3-2.

2. North Penn

The 3-0 Knights are off to a strong start, highlighted by a 12-3 SOL Continental win over Central Bucks West.

3. Neshaminy

Neshaminy (5-1) is 3-1 in the SOL Patriot, having outlasted CR South 12-11 among other victories.

4. Hatboro-Horsham

The Hatters (4-1) won all three of their non-league games before dropping a 9-0 decision to SOL Liberty Division rival Wissahickon. Hatboro-Horsham also edged Abington 6-5 in nine innings.

5. CB West

The 3-1 Bucks are 1-1 in the SOL Colonial, having outlasted Central Bucks East 4-3 and fallen to North Penn 12-3.

6. CR South

The 4-2 Golden Hawks are 3-1 in the SOL Patriot, headlined by a 3-2 win over Pennsbury.

7. Souderton

The defending SOL Colonial champion Big Red (2-2) upended division rival Pennridge 8-0 after falling to CB South 4-0.

8. Upper Moreland

The defending SOL Freedom Division champion Golden Bears (3-3) are 2-2 in the SOL Freedom and own a 6-0 victory against Lower Moreland.

9. Bristol

The 2-1 Warriors registered one-sided wins over Morrisville, 15-5, and Jenkintown, 13-3, sandwiched around a 17-2 loss to Dock Mennonite.

10. Palisades

The 3-3 Pirates have only faced Colonial League opponents, with an 18-4 victory over Northern Lehigh at the top of their resume.

Private schools (through Monday)

1. Archbishop Wood

The defending District 12 Class 5A champion Vikings (4-2 overall) have scored at least 12 runs in three of their four wins, including a 12-11 Philadelphia Catholic League victory over Devon Prep.

2. La Salle

The two-time defending District 12 champion Explorers (4-1-1) have won three in a row and also own a 6-3 victory over Holy Ghost Prep.

3. Holy Ghost Prep

The defending PIAA Class 4A runner-up Firebirds (5-3) have won four straight after a 1-3 start, highlighted by Thursday's 8-3 victory over Bensalem.

4. Dock Mennonite

The defending District One AA champion Pioneers (3-1) have won three in a row after a 7-5 loss to Lower Moreland, with the last two Bicentennial Athletic League victories coming by a combined 32-4 score.

5. Faith Christian

The 2-1 Lions have recorded their two BAL wins by a combined 33-2.
