Wegmans to hold hiring event this weekend

Wegmans Food Markets is holding a hiring event this weekend to fill entry level management positions and full-time customer service and culinary jobs throughout the Rochester region.

“We’re proud to offer meaningful opportunities at Wegmans at a time when job seekers are looking for a great company to enjoy a long-term career where they can learn and grow,” Kevin Stickles, Wegmans senior vice president of human resources, said in a news release.

Stickles said that the Gates-based company plans to quickly fill the positions. The company will "host interviews as long as needed after the event,” he said.

The hiring event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Wegmans' Pittsford grocery store, 3195 Monroe Ave. Interested candidates who are 18 or older may submit an application ahead of the event at Entry Level Manager Hiring Event at Wegmans Food Markets - Wegmans Careers.

Wegmans is a regional supermarket chain with 110 stores located along the east coast, including 17 stores within Monroe County.
