‘Weird choice of pictures’: Fans perplexed by Nicola Peltz’s tribute to father-in-law

The Beckham family is famously close knit, but a recent post by one in the squad went a little overboard for some folks.
After the Netflix documentary “Beckham” premiered last week, David Beckham’s daughter-in-law Nicola Peltz posted a few sultry snaps on Instagram to congratulate the soccer icon.
In one of the many eyebrow-raising pictures in the carousel, the Palm Beach heiress, wearing a red minidress, black stockings and platform heels, straddles hubby Brooklyn Beckham.
In another photo, Peltz is in a bathroom, staring suggestively at the camera, her foot propped up on the bidet. In another shocker, the “Transformers” star appears to spank her own bum.

The final snap was much more staid, and taken on the red carpet Wednesday night at the Curzon Mayfair theater in London — David and Victoria Beckham with all the kids, including Harper, Cruz and Romeo, who brought girlfriend Mia Regan.
Peltz’s unusual NSFW homage took a few social media users by surprise, many calling the post “bizarre,” “awful,” “distasteful,” and “nasty.”
“Weird choice of pictures to congratulate your father-in-law, one might say,” one person critiqued.
An inquiring mind asked, “You set up a camera to take raunchy pics with your husband to congratulate his dad?”
The 28 year old may have even lost some of her fan base over the inappropriate display:
“Unfollowed. Sorry, super odd.”
At least a few gossip watchers mentioned this post may have been a deliberate attempt to bother Posh Spice. The two women had the alleged rift over the fact that the bride didn’t want to wear one of VB’s designs at her lavish 2022 wedding.
At least Brooklyn, 24, was happy with the outcome, writing underneath, “My everything.”
