A Reddit screenshot shows a fanbase in disarray. The Pacers and Kings engineered a big deal Tuesday with the trade deadline looming. Indiana sent Domantas Sabonis, Justin Holiday, Jeremy Lamb and a 2027 second-round pick to Sacramento in exchange for Tyrese Haliburton, Buddy Hield and Tristan Thompson.

Tuesday afternoon, r/kings said "Welcome to Basketball Hell".
"I used to joke around, but I think I might actually be done with this franchise if this news is true," one user wrote.
Another user repeatedly wrote "(EXPLETIVE) THIS TEAM." Another asked "Who's your new favorite team?" while one fan said "trading Tyrese was the final straw for me."
One user said, "Haliburton will be better than Sabonis in less than 2 years, hold me to this." The user continued: "(expletive) this team, (expletive) Vivek, (expletive) Monte the most because we actually TRUSTED HIM and he does this to us. (Expletive) your play ins (expletive) your play offs (expletive) all of this."
The Kings are 20-35 and would currently pick fifth in the NBA Draft — one spot behind Indiana.
Here's more reaction to the deal from around social media.
The Pacers GM gotta be from Brooklyn the way he just hustled Sacramento.

this kings trade feels like someone was saying “everyone but halliburton” but the cell service cut out during “but halliburton”

have the Kings seen Haliburton play?

Love the Sabonis-Haliburton trade for the Pacers. Kevin Pritchard has been on fire lately. A week ago, Sacramento was refusing to put Haliburton in the deal, offering Davion Mitchell-Marcus Bagley instead. I’d take Haliburton over those two all day. Strong re-build for Indy.

In 51 games with the Kings this season, Tyrese Haliburton led the team in win shares, BPM, VORP, and 3P%. https://t.co/MVcC7yDC8R

Monte McNair might go down as one of the worst GMs of all time. Tyrese Haliburton is going to be torching the league in two years.

Unfortunately as of February 8, 2022, Monte McNair has not been fired as the GM of the Sacramento Kings. #FireMonte

Monte McNair ignored this entirely https://t.co/wHf3LPntqm
