'Welcome to Rockville': Tickets, hotels selling out fast. Here's where to stay.

Welcome to Rockville might be a few months away, but tickets are selling fast, with several tiers on or close to the last price level.

In addition to festival passes (which can be purchased at welcometorockville.com), finding a place to stay is another must for those traveling from out of town.

The lineup of more than 90 heavy metal acts includes artists like Slipknot, Evanescence, Alice Cooper, Deftones, Rob Zombie, Godsmack, Incubus, Queens of the Stone Age, The Mars Volta and Puscifer, among others.

The festival is an all-ages event, with several food and entertainment features in addition to the music. Organizers encourage parents to bring ear protection for their children.

Set for May 18-21 at the Daytona International Speedway, several hotels surrounding the venue on International Speedway Boulevard are already booked that weekend, according to their websites.

Here are some other options in town for those planning to spend the night:

The two hotels by Marriott are located almost 1 mile away from the Daytona International Speedway. The Residence Inn by Marriott is located at 1725 Richard Petty Blvd., while Courtyard is located at 1605 Richard Petty Blvd.

The festival ticket website offers hotel and ticket package deals ranging in price from $579 to $919, while hotel-only options begin at $209.

Hotels offered in the deal are not only located in Daytona Beach, but also in surrounding cities like DeLand, New Smyrna Beach and Ormond Beach.
