Wellington’s Gumaro Rincon, Happy Tryce Johnson top playoff standouts from last week

Here are the best of the best from the last week of high school football action in and around the Panhandle.

Gumaro Rincon, Wellington

The Skyrockets rushed for over 200 yards as a team, but Rincon was the top performer out of all of them. He scored twice while putting up 85 yards on the ground.

Tryce Johnson, Happy

Johnson led the Cowboys in tackles with 12, while rushing for 171 yards and a score last week.

Dawson Jaco, Bushland

The Falcons' season came to an end Friday, but Jaco had another solid outing as he threw two touchdowns and ran for another while passing for 297 yards.

Preston Miller, Canadian

Miller has been one of the best receivers in the Panhandle this season and he had another outstanding effort against Spearman. He had 100 yards receiving and two touchdowns last Friday.
