‘He went clear through the house;’ 911 calls detail moment semi crashed through house in Miami Cty.
Newly released 911 calls describe the moment a semi crashed through a house in Miami County Thursday evening.

Deputies and medics were dispatched to a crash at around 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of State Route 571 and State Route 201 involving a semi and SUV. The semi then drove through a house.
“I need (an) ambulance and fire truck,” a female caller told dispatchers. “A tractor trailer smashed into a van and a house. (The semi driver) He went clear through the house. Oh my gosh.”
Another caller said the semi went “all the way through” the house and described the injuries to the semi driver.
“He said he thinks his hand is broke,” the caller told dispatchers.

The dispatcher asked the caller if everyone hurt was conscious and breathing.
“Yes,” the caller replied.
The homeowner told News Center 7 Thursday night his wife had just gotten out of bed when the crash happened.
Medics transported her and the semi driver to the hospital with minor injuries.
The house is considered a total loss.
The crash remains under investigation.
