We're loving these pictures of Prince William in his local pub
After months of restrictive lockdown measures to help stop and slow the spread of coronavirus, this weekend saw pubs reopening for the first time since the pandemic hit – and it looks as though not even the royal family could resist popping in for a socially distanced pint.
Well, technically Prince William beat us all to it – as shortly before his local in Norfolk reopened for customers, the Duke of Cambridge paid a visit to staff, to discuss how they'll be operating going forward. Naturally, while he was in The Rose and Crown, the future king couldn't resist ordering himself a cheeky Aspall cider too (excellent choice, might we add).
A photo from the visit was shared on Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton's Instagram account, @KensingtonRoyal, along with the caption, "As pubs and restaurants reopen around the UK this weekend, The Duke popped into the local pub in Norfolk to wish the staff well and hear how they have adapted their operations in order to allow them to return to a new normal."
Of course, royal fans were loving the fact that good old Will had a bev while he was there. One, @beckilr27, said, "Love that he has a drink as well, go on lad 😂 ", while @kellychorleyhobbs remarked, "Wills... That's how I fill my wine glass 👍😂 right to the top."

It's safe to say that this, in addition to his confession that he loves a Nando's from time to time, is further rock solid proof that Prince William is truly a man of the people.
