There Were So, So Many Awkward Moments During the 2020 Grammys
It's the Grammys, y'all! All your fave musicians gathered tonight to celebrate their achievements re: the past year of absolute bangers. But, as is the case when you put a bunch of celebs in the same room together, there were many awkward moments. We're here with a comprehensive list of them, because... who doesn't love cringe?
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton's entire red carpet interview.
This was definitely not supposed to be that awkward, but the energy in this interview with Ryan Seacrest, Gwen, and Blake was palpably cringey, right? It's hard to describe, but it is definitely there. And apparently her outfit was an homage to the shells he's picked up for her on the beach? It was a lot!

Ryan asked Bebe Rexha what her biggest fear is.
Bebe was talking about her songwriting process and how her new songs are really vulnerable, and she talked about living with bipolar. Then Ryan asked her what her biggest fear in life is, and it just felt awkward and poorly timed.
Yup, right after she said she was bipolar. Way to go #RyanSeacrest. https://t.co/tGzaeORMoG

Giuliana Rancic forgot who designed her dress.
When Giuliana was interviewing Little Big Town on the red carpet, they asked her who she was wearing, and she totally forgot. I understand that she has a lot of stuff to remember to able to cover red carpets like these, but it's kinda awk for whoever that designer is! Just saying.
Ariana Grande swore through her CBS red carpet interview.
We stan a queen who has to be bleeped, what can we say? But also it's awkward because... who knows what the hell she said? We're all adults here, CBS. Let a girl live.

A dude wore skeleton face paint?? IDK.
For some reason, a man showed up to the Grammys wearing skeleton face paint. He sat in the very second row, so it was SUPER noticeable. Low and behold, it's actually a member of host Alicia Keys' family.
So who is the dude with the skeleton face paint on at the #GRAMMYs? pic.twitter.com/GiBVm1xgQK

Tanya Tucker mispronounced Dave Chapelle.
Alright, so Tanya Tucker, a legend, was on the stage presenting an award to Dave Chapelle. She pronounced his name "Jave Chapelle" when she did it. It counts as an awkward moment, but because she's the GOAT, we'll let it go.
Camila Cabello tripped during her performance.
Okay, I don't wanna pick on Camila, because her performance was LOVELY, however, she did trip a little bit and people did notice. Still love her, though.
Did anyone see Camila cabello fucking trip??? #GRAMMYs #GRAMMYAwards2020
