Here are the top three stories today in Las Vegas:

  1. My Chemical Romance and Avril Lavigne are among the artists headlining a new 2000s-fueled Las Vegas music festival. The "When We Were Young Festival" is scheduled for Oct. 22 at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds. Presale tickets go on sale at 10:00 a.m. on Jan. 21. (News3LV)

  2. The Grammys will be coming to the Las Vegas Strip for the first time ever this year, after the originally scheduled Jan. 31 telecast from the Crypto.com Arena was cancelled over COVID uncertainty. On April 3, the music industry’s pre-eminent annual awards show will be coming to the MGM Grand Garden. This year's show will be hosted by Trevor Noah. (Las Vegas Review-Journal)

  3. Sam Hunt will be performing as part of the reopening weekend at a Las Vegas Strip nightclub. After a nearly two-year long closure, Light Nightclub at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino have announced that its grand reopening weekend. Featured performances throughout the weekend will include Wyclef Jean on Friday, Feb. 11 and Sam Hunt on Saturday, Feb. 12. (FOX5 Las Vegas)
