Wes Moore votes early, Cox to vote on Election Day in Maryland

Maryland's nominees for governor continued to stump for votes Monday, closing in on a week until Election Day. Democratic nominee Wes Moore cast his ballot Monday in early voting. Republican nominee Dan Cox told 11 News he and his wife plan to vote on the morning of Election Day, and he distanced himself from remarks made Friday, urging people to vote late on Election Day. Cox, an election denier who is endorsed by former President Donald Trump, met Monday in Columbia with members of the group Faith and Blue, which collects donations to send to Latin America. At an early voting center in Baltimore City on Monday, and before departing to deliver a speech at the annual Baltimore City Equity and Civil Rights Awards, Moore told reporters he's excited and humbled and will continue pushing to get out the vote.
