West Baltimore Street to be closed March 29 and again April 1 through mid-month

On Friday, March 29, West Baltimore Street will be closed from 7 to 10 a.m. to through traffic in both directions between Ayers Alley and Summit Avenue.

In order to complete the work on the stadium along Baltimore Street, both lanes of the street need to be temporarily closed to traffic.

The street will be reopened once the work on Friday is completed. However, beginning at 7 a.m. on Monday, April 1, this same closure will be implemented; this street closure will remain in place continuously until at least mid-April.

Therefore, a detour route will be posted to direct traffic around the closure.

Motorists approaching the work area will encounter cones, barricades, detour signs and other traffic control devices.

Emergency vehicles will not be able to pass through this block of Baltimore Street while these closures are in effect, but will be able to respond to service calls in that block.
