West Central sweeps past Stark County in high school volleyball

Bailie Ferguson has two kills, four assists and 10 digs and Gracey Winters had four aces and 10 digs as the West Central High School volleyball team swept Stark County, 25-17, 25-13, in a Lincoln Trail Conference match Wednesday at Toulon, Illinois.

Also for the Heat, Harlee Hainds had six kills, three digs and one block, Bailey Ryan had three kills and two digs, Libby Miller had six aces and three digs, Laure Winters had seven digs, Shelby Bowman had seven digs, Keigan Thacker had two digs and Grace Seitz had two aces.

West Central (6-11 overall, 1-3 LTC) hosts United at 7 p.m. Monday at the Fire Pit in Biggsville, Illinois.

WEST HANCOCK 25-25, SOUTH FULTON 19-10: Paige Wasielewski had eight kills, Bianca Hill was 10-of-10 serving, Abbie Morrison was 9-of-9 serving with three aces and Paiyton Huston was 7-of-7 serving as the Titans prevailed at Table Grove, Illinois.

West Hancock (7-6) hosts Liberty Thursday at Warsaw, Illinois.
