West Michigan Golf Show back in Grand Rapids this weekend

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A show is coming to DeVos Place Friday to help golfers get back in the swing of things.
The 2024 West Michigan Golf Show runs from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and throughout the weekend. You will be able to check out top equipment dealers, courses and resorts and even book your first tee time of the year.
There are 200 different vendors selling golf clubs, bags, shirts, hats and more. The show also has places where you can pick up a club, test it out and potentially win prizes.
Carolyn Alt, the senior show manager, said that having the show run in the winter helps players get ready for the golf season to start.
“Golf is a huge industry in Michigan. By doing the golf show in February, it’s important for the industry to get it back on the minds of everyone who’s been holed up for winter,” Alt said.
This year, the first 1,000 people on Sunday will receive a free sleeve of golf balls. You can find out how to get tickets here.
