Four local businesses are featured in season two of "Martha Cooks," the Martha Stewart show on the Roku channel.

Airing April 3, viewers will get to see Stewart, the doyenne of food and home decor (and Northern Westchester resident), making croissants with Baker David Chiappinelli at Bella's Bake Shop in Mount Kisco. Their mission: round croissants.

Another episode features Stewart learning how to perfect Anne Mayhew's perfect sourdough starter and technique. Mayhew owns LMNOP Bakery in Katonah.

And, in a show titled "Pizza Perfection: Sicilian and Neapolitan-Style Pizza," Stewart heads to Port Chester where she learns how to make Christian Petroni's famous garlic bread alongside his marinara sauce. Petroni, the former chef/owner behind the Fortina Restaurant Group and a 2018 Food Network Star, now has his cheesy garlic bread served at Yankee Stadium.

For Chiappinelli of Bella's, the encounter was an opportunity of a lifetime. "What a surreal experience, making croissants with Martha Stewart at our own Mount Kisco bakery," he said. "I was so honored to have her recognize all that we had been through opening a business during the heart of COVID-19. She expressed such appreciation for hard working entrepreneurship.

"She's also very nice and extremely skilled, a true master at her craft and really a pro on camera."
