Westlake In Bloom Winners Announced [Photos]
WESTLAKE, OH — The Westlake in Bloom award ceremony was held Thursday evening at the Westlake Recreation Center.
Social distancing requirements were followed during the ceremony and only family members living in the same household were allowed to sit together.
Mayor Dennis Clough began the ceremony by thanking the 60 participants for adding beauty to Westlake. Participation in this year's contest was at nearly the same level as previous years, despite the complications posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The "Lou Walter Best in Bloom" award went to Binh V. To and Lan Le To, who also earned top 3 honors in multiple categories, including first place in the “Patio and Abutting Garden – Single Family” category.
The Tos have long participated in the Bloom competition and have helped the annual contest become part of Westlake's fabric.
