According to local reports, owner Cohn Restaurant Group converted the former Westroot Tavern to this new identity earlier this month. Pacific Social's offerings include such shareables as crispy carnita fries and lamb meatballs; craft burgers; specialties like Baja shrimp tacos, pan-seared salmon and lobster truffle; and a dessert menu of pies, including spiced apple, key lime and s'mores.

Pacific Social has gotten good reviews thus far, with a four-star rating out of 30 reviews on Yelp.

Kristina M., one of the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Nov. 13, wrote, "We had the double-smash cheeseburger. This one is worth ordering; its toasted bun is perfect, nice and crispy."
