WGU and Family Health West enter education partnership

FRUITA, Colo. (KREX) — Western Governors University and Family Health West entered an agreement to help their FHW healthcare employees seek higher education opportunities.

WGU officials told WesternSlopeNow they chose to partner with the Fruita facility to help provide the best care possible to the local community.

WGU is an online-based university established in 1997 by Western governors, including former Colorado governor Roy Romer. WGU currently has 170,000 students nationwide.
