February is the season of love, and Netflix will be celebrating it with a number of new releases including the highly-anticipated new adaptation of David Nicholls' book One Day.

If you're not a fan of romance then fret not, because Netflix is also releasing content for those interested in other subjects whether that's the latest true crime show or a sports docuseries. As well as release new originals, Netflix is adding several recent big name films like King Richard, Lady Macbeth and Green Book.

With awards season well underway as well, Netflix is giving subscribers the chance to watch the 30th Screen Actors Guild Awards live on 24 February. There's a lot to enjoy, so with that in mind here is everything you need to know about what is coming to Netflix in February, with thanks to What's On Netflix.


One Day | 8 February

Emma Morley and Dexter Mayhew meet on their last night at Edinburgh University, the date is 15 July and little do they know how that date will change their lives forever. Their love story is told over the course of 20 years, with viewers returning to their lives every 15 July to see how things have developed.

Streaming in February 2024

One Day is based on the hit novel by Nicholls, and it stars Ambika Mod and Leo Woodall as Emma and Dexter respectively. They are joined by Joely Richardson, Eleanor Tomlinson, and Toby Stephens amongst the cast.

Nickelodeon's iconic animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender is being adapted for live-action, and though the original creators stepped away from the show there is much buzz ahead of its release amongst fans online.

Set in a world where people can wield the elements, different nations are at war and there is only one person —the Avatar— who can use the power of water, earth, fire and air. 12-year-old Aang must travel across the continent to master his powers and find a way to end the Fire Nation's war.

Love is Blind Season 6 | 14 February

Do you think you could fall in love without ever seeing the face of the person you connect with? Well the contestants of Love is Blind do. Netflix's reality dating series returns for its sixth season, allowing a new group of singles to meet and find love in unexpected ways.

The first six episodes will be released on 14 February, with new episodes coming out each week until the finale on Wednesday, 6 March.

Lover, Stalker, Killer | 9 February

In this true crime docuseries, Netflix subscribers will be told Dave's story. After coming out of a long-term relationship Dave decided to try online dating and connected with two women, Liz and Cari, who he thought were both good matches for him.

But things took a dark turn with the relationships, leading to what is described as a "four year nightmare" for Dave. The series uses interviews with those involved and with law enforcement who helped to solve the case that involved harassment, deception, and murder.

The football documentary that inspired Rob McElhenney to invest in Wrexham AFC with Ryan Reynolds is back, and it is returning for its final season. The show follows the attempt to help the Sunderland club out of financial ruin and get it out of tier three of the UK football leagues.

Motorsports fans will also have a new season of Formula 1: Drive to Survive to enjoy in February. Now in its sixth season, the docu-series explores the lives of the drivers and the races they have to embark on in order to win the FIA Formula 1 World Championship.
