These Whatcom farms still offer U-pick, plus fresh and frozen berries
There is still time to pick fresh berries across Whatcom county as summer comes to an end.
Strawberries, blueberries and raspberries are still growing at local farms, along with other fresh produce at a number of locations.
Supply may be limited as the weather is unpredictable and has affected growth of certain produce. Be sure to call, email or check the social media of the farm you are planning to visit before going out.
Bellingham Country Gardens
Where: 2838 E. Kelly Road, Bellingham.
When: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays: open until the beginning of October.
Offers: U-pick no-spray strawberries, raspberries, tomatoes, carrots, peas, green beans, beets, potatoes, salad greens and flowers; including sunflowers.
