One of Galion's favorite diners, Granny's Kitchen, has introduced a few updates to its menu to treat customers to something a little spice and Eastern European.

The most recent addition to the menu is spicy cauliflower, said Jen Egler, server manager.

Also fairly new are pierogis, a traditional Eastern European cuisine, popular in Ukrainian, Russia and Belarus.

"Everything is yummy!" Engler said.

The restaurant opened in 2012 and is family owned, according to its website. It features farm fresh meats and produce and offers daily homemade soup.

Granny's Kitchen, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, is located at 940 Charles St., Galion. Takeout is available. The telephone number is 419-468-7786.

Hours are 6:30 a.m.- 7 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 7 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday.
