What's there to do in Coshocton County for September?

COSHOCTON − As summer ends and fall starts there are still plenty of family entertainment and special events options in September for Coshocton County.

Here is a look at five highlights for the month:

● The Flint Ridge Knap-In is from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at the Coshocton County Fairgrounds, 707 Kenilworth Ave. The event will feature demonstrations and information on the shaping of flint and other stones to form arrowheads, spears and more along with other vendors and activities. ● A beer maze will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Sept. 9 and Wine Your Way Out will be noon to 8 p.m. Sept. 16, 23 and 30 at the corn maze at the Coshocton KOA Campground, 24688 County Road 10. The beer maze is $35 for general admission and $15 for designated drivers and will feature four breweries. The wine maze days are $40 general admission and $15 for designated drivers and will feature four wineries, Coblentz Chocolate Co. and Pearl Valley Cheese and two food trucks and two musical acts each day.

● The Downtown Retailers Association and Our Town Coshocton will hold a sip and shop event Sept. 16 at various participating businesses in Downtown Coshocton. Each participating business will have a special drink for customers, some will be alcoholic and some will be non-alcoholic. Go to ourtowncoshocton.org for more information.

● The final concert of the summer concert series by the City of Coshocton and Our Town Coshocton will be at 3 p.m. Sept. 17 on the Coshocton Court Square. 7 Bridges: The Ultimate Eagles Experience features Bryan Graves as Glenn Frey, Keith Thoma as Don Henley, Brian Franklin as Don Felder, Richie Scholl as Joe Walsh, James Richardson as Randy Meisner and Timothy Schmit and Vernon Roop as Joe Vitale. The band is named for the Eagles song "Seven Bridges Road."

● The Coshocton County Fair runs Sept. 29 to Oct. 5 at the Coshocton County Fairgrounds, 707 Kenilworth Ave. Gates open 7 a.m. daily. Admission is $15 for ages 2 and up and $7 for veterans and seniors 65 and older. Admission includes free grandstand entertainment, mechanical rides and parking. All grandstand entertainment starts at 7 p.m. and includes a truck and tractor pull that Friday and Saturday, Bullmania on Sunday, That Arena Rock Show on Monday, Auto-Cross on Tuesday, rough trucks on Wednesday and Moto-Cross racing on Thursday.
