What's new to eat at PNC Bank Arts Center and Camden amphitheater this summer

Ready to say cheese?

The Wiz Khalifa Hot Box Mac ‘n’ Cheese is making its debut at the newly named Freedom Mortgage Pavilion in Camden, and the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel.

It's just one of the new amenities fans will find at the arenas this summer.

The Tim McGraw-led 92.5 XTU Anniversary Show kicks off the season in Camden on Friday, May 20. McGraw opens the summer at PNC on Friday, May 27.

The Wiz Khalifa Hot Box menu has so far only been available as a ghost kitchen concept, so this will be a new experience for the brand.

The Khalifa “Mac and Yellow” features “creamy, cheesy, oozy mac and cheese, topped with shredded cheese,” according to a news release.

Be sure to grab an extra napkin or two.

“I worked with our amazing chefs to make sure every item has the hometown taste that I love ...," said Khalifa, a Pittsburgh native, in a statement.

Also new at both venues is Brooke Williamson's fish ‘n’ chips. She's a former Bravo “Top Chef" winner. Dog Haus hot dogs returns to both venues as well as “fan favorites,” according to a rep from Live Nation, which operates both arenas.

The plazas and bathrooms were refurbished at the Holmdel venue last year, and more work has been done for this season. They are “all-new,” the rep said.

“Later this summer, we will also launch all-new party decks on the lawn,” said Jorelle Aronovitch, general manager, PNC Bank Arts Center, via email.

The Camden venue was the “Waterfront Music Pavilion” for a few months and the “BB&T Pavilion” for seven years prior to that. It's been called several other names, too, including “Blockbuster-Sony Music Entertainment Centre,” “Tweeter Center” and “Susquehanna Bank Center.”

Attendees this summer at the PNC Bank Arts Center and the Freedom Mortgage Pavilion do not have to present proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test.

Just announced by Live Nation: The Alice in Chains, Breaking Benjamin and Bush tour is coming Aug. 11 to Camden and Oct. 7 in Holmdel.
