The Great Gatsby

Gadsden State Theatre presents F. Scott Fitzgerald's "The Great Gatsby" at 7 p.m. nightly Thursday through Saturday at Wallace Hall Fine Arts Center on Gadsden State Community College's Wallace Drive Campus. Additional performances are at 7 p.m. Oct. 20-22. For tickets, visit www.purplepass.com.

Sunset Suppers

A food truck rally from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday will offer a chance to enjoy "Sunset Suppers" at Southside Landing . There will be live music and food vendors including Tj's Crawfish Shack, Swine 'n Brine BBQ, Southern Paradice, Fusion Taco, It's Donut Time and Old Fashion Floats. Come by land or by water.

Live Wrestling

New South Pro Wrestling returns to Gadsden Saturday at the Mort Glosser Amphitheatre, with special guests including former WWE star Jimmy Wang Yang, former AEW star Alan "5" Angels, the NWA's Kenzie Page and Rolando, and Gadsden's own "Castaway Cabana Man Dan." Alabama Wine Festival

Winemakers from across the state have tastings and products for sale at the second Alabama Wine Festival at Wills Creek Vineyards and Wineries from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. There will be music and food vendors. For ticket information, visit https://willscreekwinery.com.

Benefit Walk & Car Show

Morgan Funeral Chapel and Collier Butler Funeral Home will host a Breast Cancer Awareness Community Event Sunday at 12th Street Baptist Church. The car show is from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.; the walk starts at 3 p.m. Admission is $5 with all proceeds going to Steel Magnolias Breast Cancer Support Group. Admission fee includes a chance to win multiple giveaways. There will be music by Rock 105.9, food trucks and other vendors.

Noccalula Falls Pow-Wow

The ninth annual Noccalula Falls Pow-Wow, presented by the nonprofit Turtle Creek Native American Association is set for 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Noccalula Falls Park. The event will feature demonstrations of archery and flint knapping, along with a traditional performance from Aztec dancers; a presentation by author Cabot Borden; music from flute player Charlie Mato-Toyela; tip and tomahawk thrower Rowland Matthews; and on Sunday, hoop dancer Lyndon Alec. There also will be Native American craft vendors and food vendors. Tickets are $8 for adults; $3 for ages 6-14 and 65 and older; and $15 for a family (limit five).
