What's going there? Keep up with the latest businesses coming to North Jersey

For those of you who regularly read my roundups of new businesses coming to the North Jersey area, you know there is much to look forward to. We love to report on businesses, large and small that are "coming soon" and others that have already opened their doors.

This is sort of a roundup of roundups if you will. Here you will find all the business news in North Jersey we were able to get our hands on. As summer winds down, use this list to check out some of theese new businesses n the area. In this roundup you'll find new downtown stores, coffee spots, ice cream shops, chic boutiques, new places to work out and a new supermarket (don't forget to bring your reusable bags).

Clothing/Accessories

Lorin's Shop: Great place to find an outfit for an evening out with a date or with the ladies. Spanish is spoken at the shop and various forms of payments, including Zelle and PayPal will be accepted. Stop by and check out the clothes and the many accessories.

TravisMathew: At TravisMathew in the Garden State Plaza, golf fanatics or those who just occasionally play, can find the right clothes and accessories. The store's Southern California sun and beach vibes can be found in the men's and women's sections.

Hunt and Orchard: This boutique originally opened in Westwood in 2019 and just relocated to Ridgewood. Owner Michel Bezoza exhibits her love for art, music, and fashion throughout her boutique with her choice in jewelry, accessories, T-shirts, dresses, skirts, and more.

Fae and Phantom: Vintage clothing with a touch of pump, goth, and pinup styles are found at Fae and Phantom in Wayne. The clothing shop shares the space with a beauty salon.

Gym/Recreation

Spidey's House: Does Dwayne Holman sound familiar? Well, he is a professional world champion kickboxer who opened this Montclair gym in May. It offers private and group lessons.

Drop Fitness: From its sauna to the cold plunge showers, this Montvale fitness center may be the one for you. Here you'll find various methods of strength and HIIT training, Drop Fitness houses, a running studio, group classes, yoga, and much more.

Spark Car Wash: This car wash is taking over a space vacated by another car wash and will be part of the redevelopment of Woodland Park's Route 46 where an Amazon Fresh, Popeyes and Starbucks will soon open.

Dragon's Den Martial Arts: Dragon's Den Martial Arts programs are geared toward children as young as 3. They offer group taekwondo classes if your child is more into group extracurricular activities. Dragon's Den in Mount Olive also has a snack and drink shop.

Santokh Yoga and Wellness: If you're looking for tranquility, quietness, and peace within, you may find it at Santokh Yoga and Wellness in Montclair. Its hot and non-hot yoga room may be the escape you need. In addition, there's a sauna for a nice quiet time. Don't forget, though, to bring your own yoga mat!

Hair, face, hand, and body services

Haus of Hilights: You may have touched up your roots or gotten a balayage at the beginning of the warm weather and are now looking to switch things up. The Kerastase and Redken-based product salon in Montclair offers hairstyling services, scalp scrubs, makeup services, and a boutique as well.

Razor Edge Barbershop: Men deserved to get pampered too. At Razor Edge in Randolph you'll find straight razor cuts, hot towel face services, head shaves and more. Do you have a beard? There are lots of services for you and kids too. The shop is experienced with people who have disabilities as well as "everyday fussy kids."

Face Foundrie: Who doesn't love getting their face pampered, pores extracted, a cool face mask, and bright clean skin? The Morristown shop offer a 40-minute facial if you're in a rush and an array of wax services.

Just for Kids Cuts: Your child's trip to the barbershop may have just gotten cooler and more fun. The Montclair shop has race cars, firetrucks, and police car-shaped barber chairs to grab the youngster's attention.

Impress Nails: This new salon in Montclair offers everything you'd expect from a nail salon.

Sugar Coat by BNS: Sugarcoat in Montclair is all about manicures and pedicures and nail art. Schedule appointments online through Fresha.

Sugaring NYC: If you don't like traditional waxing, Sugaring in Bloomfield is for you. It offers organic waxing and lash services.

Sweets, café, liquor, and more

Casa de Flora: Calling all flower fanatics who would love to create a floral bouquet while they sip away. This Bloomfield flower shop and café may also serve as a bridal shower or baby shower location.

Total Wine and More: With more than 8,000 wines, 3,000 beers, and 3,500 spirits, Total Wine and More in Totowa began their liquor store journey in 1991.

All Roads Vegan Bakery: The plant-based Lake Hopatcong coffee shop and bakery is a real gift to vegans. Their vegan treats, cakes, brownies, and cookies are displayed as you walk in. Check out their menu at: allroadsveganbakery.com/shop

Stack Creamery: Sweets galore in Morristown! If over 12 dozen ice cream flavors served in a cup or cone isn't enough, then the make-your-own ice cream sandwich section will add a couple more options for you.

Matcha Café Maiko: This Hawaii-originated shop in Fort Lee serves all things Matcha. Their matcha shaved ice, soft serve, and their hojicha (spicy tea) are among the goods they sell at Matcha Café Maiko. All products are shipped from Uji Japan and their matcha comes directly from Harima Garden which began operating in 1858.

Home

Marshalls: The Totowa "off-store" department store has a new home and a home decor section. The store relocated across the street but offers the same wares.

SM Design Center: Is your home in need of a spruce-up? SM Design Center in Montclair offers design services for spruce-ups and remodeling of kitchens or baths. They work with real estate developers, property managers and owners.

Jennifer Furniture: Like other similar stores, Jennifer Furniture in Paramus has a wide selection of furniture for living rooms, dining rooms, room assets, and a mattress service.

Homesense: You can spend hours in this Totowa store and still not see everything. From window treatments, pillows, furniture, rugs, office furniture, candles and more are found at Homesense you'll find things that will make an essential asset to your home.

BJs Wholesale Club: There are 23 BJs stores in the Garden State but this one will be special as it will be the first in Passaic County when complete. This warehouse will sell household objects, groceries, pet needs, electronics, indoor and outdoor furniture, and seasonal object in bulk. The location, near Willowbrook Mall in Wayne, will also hae a gas station.

Mattress Plus: Whether it's plush, extra plush, or temper-pudic, at Mattress Plus in Little Falls you'll find well-known brands like Sealy, Serta, Restonic, and bed frames are also an option.
