Warmer months bring plenty of fan-favorite events to the Fayetteville area, with quite a few in store this weekend.
Fourth Friday is an event by Cool Spring Downtown District held throughout the summer season in downtown Fayetteville on the fourth Friday of the month. July's Fourth Friday event is this Friday 6-9 p.m.
The event is free and features local vendors, food and music. It also serves as an opportunity for people to explore downtown and its businesses, restaurants and attractions.

Here are eight other upcoming events in the Fayetteville area:
Dinosaur World
Sweet Valley Ranch, 2990 Sunnyside School Road, presents one of its most popular attractions, Dinosaur World.
The attraction is open 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday through Saturday and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday through Aug. 21.

Dinosaur World features more than 500 animals from five continents and more than 50 animatronic dinosaurs. For its second year, the attraction added an ice age exhibit that includes animatronics of extinct animals and an iguana exhibit featuring more than 100 live iguanas.

Community Day
Tru Legendz Motorcycle Club and the Loyalty Riders present the 2nd Annual Community Day Event 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at Kiwanis Recreation Center and Honeycutt Park, 352 Devers St. in Fayetteville.
The event will include food and drinks for a donation, music, a dunk tank, tug of war, corn hole and face painting for kids.
There will also be a kickball game between the Loyalty Riders and Tru Legendz.
Endless Summer Drag Show
The Church Entertainment Lounge at Paddy's Irish Public House, 2606 Raeford Road, Suite A, in Fayetteville, presents Endless Summer Drag Show Sunday 5-7 p.m. and 8-10 p.m.
The event is $10 in advance and $15 at the door.
Christmas in July
Volta Space presents Christmas in July: Pop-Up Shop on Sunday from 1-6 p.m. at 116 Person St. in downtown Fayetteville.
The event will feature local vendors including Copper's Sound, Durant Candle Co., SkinSavvy Aesthetics and Scented Wicks.
There will also be free giveaways and free mocktails. The event is free, but registration is required on Eventbrite.
Downtown Salsa & Swing Night
The Culture & Heritage Alliance presents Downtown Salsa & Swing Night every Tuesday until Aug.30 from 7-9 p.m. at Volta Space, 116 Person St., in Fayetteville.
The event is free and open for dancers from beginners to intermediate. Salsa is from 7-8 p.m. and swing/shag from 8-9 p.m.

Sunday on the Square
Cora's Community Foundation, a Fayetteville nonprofit, presents Sunday on the Square Sunday noon-7 p.m. at 3421 Murchison Road.
The event will include entertainment such as a rock climbing wall, a drumline and local artists, art and free food, which is inspired by Vick's Drive-In, which closed in 2014.
Huske After Hours
Huske Hardware Restaurant & Brewing Company, 405 Hay St., presents Huske After Hours on Friday and Saturday nights from 10 p.m.-2 a.m.
The event is limited to those ages 21 and older with a club attire dress code. There is a $10 admission cover.
Teen Game Time
The Hope Mills branch of the Cumberland County Library system presents Teen Game Time Thursday from 4-6 p.m. at the library, 3411 Golfview Road.
The event includes a variety of games for youth in grades 6-12. Registration for the event is required by calling 910-483-7727, ext. 1425.
