Toubab Krewe
The Big Dirty is hosting instrumental folk-jam band Toubab Krewe on Sunday. The Asheville, North Carolina-based band describes its music as a combination of rock, African traditions, jam sensibilities, international folk strains and more. The show is for 21 and over. Advance tickets start at $18, tickets are $20 at the door. Tickets can be purchased online at thebigdirty.live.

David Rogers with James Anderson
Guitarist David Rogers and violinist James Anderson will perform a program of Argentinian tango and Spanish classical music at the Jazz Station this weekend. The program will feature Astor Piazzolla’s "Histoire du Tango" and Manuel de Falla’s, "Siete Canciones Populares Españolas." Guitarist Nancy Elliott will also join in for a performance of Maurizio Cazzati’s 17th-century trio sonata, "Ciaconna." Rogers will also perform arrangements of Rolling Stones, Leonard Cohen, Carla Bley songs and music by J.S. Bach and Mauro Giuliani. Tickets start at $15 and can be purchased online at thejazzstation.org.

Itty Bitty Boutique Kids' Consignment Sale
The spring Itty Bitty Boutique Kids' Consignment Sale is at the Lane Events Center this weekend. Children’s clothes, shoes, toys, books, videos, baby gear, furniture and more will be available. Itty Bitty Boutique accepts cash, debit and credit cards. Admission to the event is free. For information about the sale, go to ittybittyboutique.org.

The Black Violin Experience
Listen to two-time Grammy-nominated duo Black Violin at The Black Violin Experience this Saturday. Kev Marcus and Wil Baptiste fuse together classical sounds with exciting hip-hop beats in a concert that combines centuries of music and unites audiences. Tickets start at $25 and are available online at hultcenter.org.

Dorris Ranch Loop Trail
For a fun and easy outdoor adventure head to Dorris Ranch. Located along the Willamette River in Springfield, the park offers plenty of walking trails and natural areas. It is also considered a national historic site, a living history farm and a working commercial filbert orchard. The park is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. The gate is automated and closes at dusk. Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash.
There are a few ways to explore the park, but one quick way is to walk the Dorris Ranch Loop Trail. The loop is a little under 2 miles and should take most people about 35 minutes to complete. To start, head to Dorris Ranch Living History Farm off South 2nd Street. The path starts from the parking lot. You'll want to head south and follow the Middle Fork Path through filbert orchards. Stay to the right as you come across intersecting paths. You'll follow the river for a bit until the path loops back around. Around the 1.1-mile mark, you'll come to a paved path and head left. You can then follow that path all the way back to the parking lot. There are plenty of interconnecting trails, so you can customize which route you'd like to take.
