The best things to watch on TV this week, 10 - 16 October, 2022
Our Dementia Choir Sings Again with Vicky McClure - BBC One - 9pm, Monday
Line Of Duty star McClure returns to the choir she set up for people living with dementia in this two-part special.
They're recording a charity single at Abbey Road Studios, but amongst the uplifting moments there is a lot of sadness as she catches up with singers we met in the first documentary, some of who have deteriorated heartbreakingly fast.
McClure will continue her important work with the choir next week.
Maxine - Channel 5 - 9pm, Monday - Wednesday

Channel 5's true crime drama has caused controversy before it even begins airing across three nights this week, with some feeling the case it features is still too raw and shocking to inspire TV.
It focusses on Maxine Carr, the partner of murderer Ian Huntley who killed Soham schoolgirls Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman in 2002.

Showing the control Huntley had over Carr, it represents a toxic relationship and shows a complex background to why she provided him with a false alibi for the day of the girls' disappearance.
The Elon Musk Show - BBC Two - 9pm, Wednesday
A three-part biography of the world's richest man begins this week, using extensive archive footage to show Musk's extraordinary life.
Charting how he moved from early roles in Silicon Valley to founding Tesla and SpaceX, it's a fascinating look at Musk's success, controversies, and the drive he has to push boundaries.
National Television Awards - ITV - 8pm, Thursday
It's been a long wait for the NTAs to get back to full strength - the pandemic caused a cut-down version of events, and then last month's ceremony had to be postponed after the death of the Queen.
But the glitzy event is finally ready to go, with stars of the small screen scrubbing up for one of the biggest nights in the calendar.
Find out who champions in categories recognising soap, drama, comedy and daytime favourites.
I Can See Your Voice - BBC One - 9.05pm, Saturday
This strange take on the TV singing contest returns for a second series, hosted by Paddy McGuinness.
Contestants must pick who they think the best singers are out of a line-up without ever hearing them sing - kind of like a reverse version of The Voice UK.

Aiding them in their guesses are a celebrity panel of Alison Hammond, Amanda Holden and Jimmy Carr, this time with guest judge Tony Hadley.
Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins - Channel 4 - 9pm, Sunday
The whittled down group of recruits are aiming to pass training in the final of the series which sees celebrities take on a version of the SAS selection process.
It's been a tough time for the group of reality TV stars, actors, dancers and athletes, but will any of them impress the directing staff enough to be given a pass?
Expect blood, sweat, tears and swearing before the process comes to an end.
The Larkins - ITV - 8pm, Sunday
Bradley Walsh, Joanna Scanlan and co are back for a second series of The Darling Buds Of May remake - and viewers will notice that this time, Mariette is played by Joelle Rae rather than Sabrina Bartlett.
Otherwise, expect more of the same from the cosy drama, with feasts, jokes and perpetual summer.
