The city and El Paso County plan closures Tuesday in observance of the Fourth of July.

All city of El Paso administrative offices will be closed on Tuesday, officials said in a news release.

Administrative offices will resume business Wednesday, July 5. The City Council will meet at 9 a.m. Wednesday. City Council meetings are broadcast live on CITY-TV (Spectrum Channel 1300, AT&T U-Verse Channel 99, and over the air on Channel 13.4). They also are livestreamed on the City of El Paso YouTube Channel.

Residential trash and recycling collection will not be affected by the holiday.

El Paso County officials announced administrative offices will be closed Tuesday.

Regular business hours will resume Wednesday.

The El Paso County Commissioners Court will not meet on Monday and will resume county business at the following meeting in regular session on July 10th beginning at 9:30 a.m.

Texas Tech announces closings for July Fourth

The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso campus, including libraries, Texas Tech Physicians of El Paso clinics and the Texas Tech Dental Oral Health Clinic, will be closed Tuesday in observance of Independence Day. Regular hours of operation will resume Wednesday.

EPCC to close for Independence Day holiday

El Paso Community College will observe Independence Day on Tuesday. EPCC classes and services will resume on Wednesday. Online registration is available through epcc.edu.

Socorro ISD closed for summer break

The Socorro Independent School District will be closed for summer break from Monday through Friday, July 7. The district will reopen on July 10. In case of an emergency, contact SISD Police Services Dispatch at 915-937-4357.
