What's Open, Closed Christmas Week 2021 In Alpharetta, Milton
ALPHARETTA/MILTON, GA — Christmas may be different again this year due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. But something that hasn't changed is the closure of many services in Alpharetta and Milton for the holiday.
While Christmas is a federal holiday, some services may start their closures on Christmas Eve. Here are the openings and closings to know on and around Friday, Dec. 24 (Christmas Eve) and Saturday, Dec. 25 (Christmas).
Fulton County courts, facilities and offices are closed on Friday, Dec. 24 and Monday. Dec 27.
Fulton County public safety services are available 365 days per year.
Alpharetta garbage pick up: If your regularly scheduled service day falls on Christmas, your revised service will occur on the day following your regularly scheduled service.
All Fulton County public libraries will be closed Saturday.
The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority will operate bus service on its Sunday schedule, and rail service on its Saturday schedule, for Dec. 24-25. There will be no changes to rail service on Dec. 25-26.
Alpharetta Adult Activity Center at North Park will be closed Dec. 23-24.
Fulton County Schools students are off from Dec. 20-Jan. 2, all offices are closed. Jan. 3, 2022 is a teacher workday.
Municipal offices for Alpharetta are closed Thursday and Friday. City Hall in Milton is closed Friday and Monday, including the fire administrative offices, Municipal Court window, and police offices at Milton's Public Safety Complex off Ga. 9.
This is a federal holiday and all U.S. Postal Service post offices will be closed.
Banks will be closed.
