What's Open, Closed In Crofton On Martin Luther King Jr. Day

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — While there won't be a parade and other festivities celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. Day this year, the holiday will still impact things like trash pickup and mail delivery.

Many government services are already affected by coronavirus closures. Here is what's opened and closed around Monday's holiday:

Government Offices: Anne Arundel County government offices will be closed Monday

Courts: Courts are closed Monday. Court hours are listed here.

Parks: All parks will be open for their normal hours. Park hours are listed here. This interactive map shows the parks closest to you.

Libraries: All Anne Arundel County Public Library branches will be closed on Monday. Libraries are currently closed for in-person service. They are open for curbside pickup, however. A full list of library hours and contact information is posted here.

Post Offices: Post offices will be closed Monday.

Trash And Recycling: All landfills and recycling centers will be open Monday. Curbside collection will continue as usual. A schedule of all Anne Arundel County trash and recycling operations is available here.

Buses: The County Connector will run on a Sunday schedule this Monday.

These Anne Arundel County bus routes will run on a Saturday schedule this Monday:

  • Brooklyn Park Connector (204)

  • Gold Route

  • Yellow Route

  • Route 201

  • Route 202

These county routes will be closed Monday:

  • Crofton Connector

  • Para-Transit Service

  • South County Call N Ride
