Where each Big 12 team lands in USA TODAY Sports’ updated Re-Rank

The Big 12 Conference went 7-2 during Week 3.

Kansas continued their hot start to the season, defeating Tennessee Tech, West Virginia and Houston throughout the first three weeks. Lance Leipold could be in the conversation for coach of the year if this streak continues.

Texas, Oklahoma State, Baylor, Oklahoma, West Virginia and Iowa State took care of business this week, while Texas Tech and Kansas State suffered their first losses of the season.

In USA TODAY Sports’ updated re-rank, the Big 12 was represented well. West Virginia is the lowest ranked team in the conference at No. 95 overall, while Oklahoma claims the top spot at No. 5.
