When and where can I buy Girl Scout cookies in Sacramento? How to find your nearest booth

It’s that time of year again to stock your Sacramento home with Girl Scouts cookies — Thin Mints, Trefoils or whatever your favorite flavor is — in support of the girl-led organization.

Girl Scout cookie season officially kicked off on Jan. 29 across Northern California and in-person sales followed shortly after that, according to a news release.

In Sacramento, booths will start popping up this weekend outside of schools, supermarkets, churches and clothing stores.

Proceeds made from cookie sales go toward the original council and troop to fund year-round activities and projects, Girl Scouts wrote on its website. Each council determines its revenue structure based on cookie costs, retail prices and its troops.

Here’s what you need to know about in-person cookie sales in Sacramento before the season ends on March 17.
